[recipe title=”Tutti frutti cake” servings=”4-6″ time=”1hr ” difficulty=”easy”]
Ingredients:-
All purpose flour/maida | 1 cup |
Oil | ½ cup |
Eggs | 4 |
Baking powder | 1 tsp |
Pineapple essence | 4 drops |
Tutti frutti | ½ cup |
Sugar | ¾ th cup |
Procedure:-
In a bowl add eggs and whisk, now powdered the sugar in the blender and add into the eggs followed by the oil and few drops of pineapple essence ,whisk well and keep it aside.
In another cup/bowl add tutti frutti along with some flour, mix the flour to the tutti frutti and keep it aside. This will help to spread the tutti frutti evenly in the cake. Otherwise the tutti frutti will sink to the bottom of the cake.
Sift the flour along with baking powder and add into the egg mixture and gently mix everything ( don’t over mix) , now gently fold in the floured tutti frutti and pour the batter in to the greased and dusted mold ( i used bread mold) and place it in the pre-heated oven at 180 degree c for 40 minutes, once it cooked allow the cake to come to room temperature and serve it as a tea time cake or store it in the air tight container.
