Tawa pulao is one of the famous street food in India. One can easily make at home using leftover rice. Tawa pulao is loaded with lots and lots of veggies and packed the flavors. Unlike other pulao, this tawa pulao does not need any side dish.

Ingredients:-
Basmati rice | 2 cups |
Water | 4 cups |
Onion | 2 |
Tomato | 2 |
Green chili | 1 |
Carrot | 2 |
Beans | 10 |
Cauliflower | 5 florets |
Green peas | ½ cup |
Potato | 1 |
Mushroom | 5 |
Capsicum | 1 small |
Soya chunk | handful |
Garam masala | 1 tsp |
Pav bhaji masala | 1 tsp |
Chana masala | 1 tsp |
Chat masala | 1 tsp |
Chili powder | 1 tsp |
Coriander powder | 1 tsp |
Turmeric powder | ½ tsp |
Kasoori methi | big pinch |
Ginger garlic paste | 1 tbsp |
Oil and butter | each 2 tbsp |
Cumin seeds | 1 tsp |
Salt | to taste |
Coriander leaves | 1 small bunch |
Lemon | 1 |
Procedure:-
Prepare basmati rice.
Place a pan on a medium heat and add the butter and oil, once the oil is hot enough add the cumin seeds and allow it to splatter. Now add the finely chopped onions and slit green chilies and fry well. Once it turned slight brown add chopped tomatoes and fry well. Once it mushy add the ginger garlic paste and fry well. Add the finely chopped veggies (that take more time to cook) and fry well, once they are half cooked add other veggies and soaked and squeezed soya chunks and mix well, cover the pan with its lid and cook for few minutes. Now add the masalas and prepared basmati rice / leftover rice and squzee in the lemon juice and tost it gently. Adjust the salt as per your taste and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
