Rava ladoo is one of the popular sweet / dessert in most part of the India, it’s really simple to make. You can make it with handful of ingredients. It stay fresh for week. It’s loaded with coconut and ghee perfect for any festivals and functions. This ladoo is made with rava/Bombay rava/semolina, It’s really a quick, rich and delicious sweet recipe.

Ingredients:-
Rava/Bombay rava/semolina | 500 grams |
Sugar | 450 grams |
Coconut | ½ cup |
Ghee / clarified butter | 2 tbsp |
Cardamom | 3 |
Water | ½ cup |
Cashew | for garnish |
Procedure:-
Place a wide pan on medium heat, add the ghee followed by rava. Fry it till it slightly golden, pour the roasted rava in a plate/ bowl and keep it aside.
In the same pan add grated coconut and fry well -this step is crucial, if you don’t fry this coconut the ladoo may spoil with in a day. Add the fried coconut in the same rava plate. In the same pan add the water, once it start to boil add the sugar and mix well. Add cardamom powder and mix till single string consistency. Once it reached the single string consistency add the roasted rava and coconut, mix well and switch off the stove. When the heat is bearable make into small balls/ladoo. If needed add splash of milk to make into perfect ladoo.
