Paneer Manchurian

Ingredients:-

For deep-frying :-

Paneer / cottage cheese250 grams
Maida / all-purpose flour½ cup
Corn flour1 tbsp
Chickpea flour / besan¼th cup
Saltto taste
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Chili powderto taste

For Manchurian sauce:-

Garlic2
Ginger4 inch piece
Onion1
Green chili2
Onion1 cut into cubes
Capsicum10 pieces
Soya sauce3 tbsp
Tomato ketchup2 tbsp
Sugar¼th tsp
Salt & pepperto taste
Spring onionfor garnishing
Oil2 tsp
Corn flour1 tbsp

Procedure:-

Pre-heat the oil for deep-frying, cut the paneer into 2 inch pieces, now add the flour and other ingredients and mix well make it into pancake / idly batter consistency by adding enough water, dip the paneer one at a time and deep fry them in medium hot oil and reserve it.
Place a wide pan on medium heat add chopped ginger and garlic in the pre-heated oil and fry for minute then add onion, green chilies and fry well. Add the cubed onion and capsicum fry for a minute, add the sauce. Add water and bring it boil, in a bowl mix corn flour with water mix well and add into the pan, add salt and sugar and pepper powder add the deep-fried paneer pieces. Now garnish it with spring onions and serve it with fried rice / Hakka noodles.
