I recently had a South Indian thali, Ivy gourd chana dal curry is one of the curry they served in that thali. I really liked it very much, it even goes well with dal, sambar and rasam. I tried it and its turned out nearly the same. Now the curry been regular in my kitchen, it’s really easy to make, sometimes I had this curry with some rice and ghee and it is absolute bliss. There are lots of complicated recipes out there and even some recipes contain a large list of ingredients, while making recipes like this curry I realize that within few ingredients we will make a wonderful dish.
