Gulab jamun cookies are so soft and just melt in your mouth, these cookies are really famous in social media. They taste similar to butter cookies, I added the pinch of salt to this recipe if you have sweet tooth avoid the salt and add a tbsp of sugar to this recipe. For me, I like the savory touch in this cookies.
Let’s see the procedure,
[recipe title=”Gulab jamun cookies” servings=”2-3″ time=”30mins” difficulty=”easy”]
Ingredients:-
Gulab jamun mix | 200 grams |
Ghee / butter | 7 TBSP |
Sugar | 3 tbsp |
Salt | ¼th tsp |
Procedure:-
Powdered the sugar and add into the bowl, add the gulab jamun mix, salt, and ghee. Now mix it gently, meanwhile preheat the oven at 160º C for 10 minutes. Now make a small lime size balls out of the dough and place them on the cookie sheet lined with silicon mat/parchment paper. Gently press cookies to add designs of your choice using fork or toothpick. Place it in the oven and bake them for 10 minutes each oven behaves differently so keep an eye to avoid burnt cookies. Once it baked the cookies are very fragile, take the tray out of the oven and let it cool a bit then transfer them to the airtight container/serving plate and enjoy it with tea or coffee.
